Your Occupier Settings

Get familiar with your Occupier settings!

There are a lot of things you can do from your Settings in Occupier. From adjusting your notification preferences, to adding users, to adding custom fields. Getting familiar with your settings is a great way to get started on the platform. 

To access your settings, click on the person icon in the upper right hand corner of the page. 

Your settings may look different based on what kind of permissions you have but in general, you will see a couple of sections - 

  • Email Preferences
  • Categories
  • Custom Fields
  • User/Team Settings

In the email preferences section of your settings, you can adjust your notification preferences for your critical date notifications, portfolio digest, variance report and more! Here are some articles that go more in-depth on how to adjust these settings -

The categories section of your settings is where you can add custom categories such as a custom expense type (additional rent expenses) or event type (critical dates). To learn more about how to add custom categories, check out this article
