How do I create and edit tasks individually?

Start by selecting the lease whose tasks you want to manage. Once viewing the lease, click on the “Tasks” tab as shown below. 

The “Tasks” tab shows all currently open and completed tasks associated with the lease in question. 

To create a task, click the green “New Task” button

This will open up our new task window, where you can name the task, add a description, assign the task to a specific user, assign a due date or add an attachment or tag. Learn more about task tags and how to set them up here.  

Within the description field, you can use our rich text editor to add hyperlinks, bullet points, images, etc. 

To mark a task as completed, click the green arrow next to the task. Note - You can click the green arrow again to reopen a task!

How do I create and edit tasks with the task page?

Click “Tasks” on the navigation bar to see the full list of tasks in your account.

You can create a new task be clicking "New Task" or edit a task by click on the three dots at the end of a existing task how the tasks are sorted and how they are filtered with the “Sort by” and “Filter” icons.

This will open up our new task editing window, where you can name the task, add a description, assign it to multiple lease records, assign the task to a specific user, assign a due date or add an attachment or tag. Learn more about color-coded task tags and how to set them up here.  
Note - Only users who are on the lease team can be assigned a task.

You can sort tasks by default (date created), due date, or assignee.

You can use “filter” to show tasks that fit the criteria that you set. You can filter based on assignees, task status, due dates and tags. Set parameters will appear above the list of tasks.
Note- to remove set filter parameters, click the “x” next to the individual filters you’d like to remove or clear all.

Every task shows what lease it was created in and for.
Note - you can click the lease name to take you directly to that lease’s page.

 To set a due date for a task, click the calendar icon. A menu will appear where you can input the date you’d like to set. You can also open the task to add the date by clicking the three dots on the right side of the task.

To mark a task as completed, click the green arrow next to the task. Completed tasks will move to the bottom of the list.
Note - Click the green arrow again to reopen the task.
