Creating and Filtering Tags

Tags allow you to customize and visually organize tasks with colored labels

Colored Tags can be applied to Tasks and to Individual Leases


To create a Tag 

Try a Guided Walkthrough

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select the menu option Tags.
  • Assign a name and color to your tag.
  • Save the tag for use.

Try a Guided Walkthrough

  • Open an existing task or create a new one.
  • Select one or more tags from the dropdown menu.
  • Save the task to apply the tags.

Assigning Tags to Leases

  • Navigate to the lease you would like to apply the tag to
  • Select the pencil icon on the right side of the screen

  • Select one or more tasks from the dropdown menu and Submit. New tasks can be created in this field, however, assigning a tag a color is done within Tag Settings

Filtering Tasks by Tags

  • Go to your task list view.
  • Use the filter option to select tags. The list will update to show only the tasks with the selected tags.

Filtering Leases by Tasks with Tags:

  • Access the lease management section.
  • Use the filter to search for leases associated with tasks that have specific tags.
  • Configure Task Tags into your lease administration view.
  • Create a Saved View based on the filter (optional).

Best Practices for Using Tags

  • Define a Tagging Strategy: Before creating tags, discuss with your team to establish a consistent tagging system that everyone can follow.
  • Limit Tag Overlap: Avoid creating too many tags with similar meanings to keep the system clear and manageable.
  • Regularly Review Tags: Periodically audit your tags to ensure they remain relevant to your workflows.
