How can I change the format of the Journal Entry download?
Watch this video to learn more about changing the format of journal entry downloads, or read along below.
The Occupier journal entry download has a default set of parameters that cannot be changed; however you ARE able to add additional columns/data fields called Segments.
The default Occupier columns/data fields are as follows:
1. Period
2. Lease Name
3. Account Name
4. Account Number
5. Debit (amount)
6. Credit (amount)
As mentioned above, on top of these data fields you can also add account segments to further align your chart of accounts/general ledger with Occupier. A few examples of account segments that customers commonly add are:
1. Department
2. Cost center
3. Location ID
4. Project ID
