What should I do if my Trial Balance does not agree to Lease Amortization Schedule?
If you are reviewing your Trial Balance report at the individual lease level and you realize the Trial Balance does not reconcile to the Lease Amortization Schedule this may be due to the a lease being amended and remeasured. If a lease was amended, be sure the lease is in a "Completed" state prior to running reporting.
However, this can also be a result of:
- Changes were made to the entity structure, such as the fiscal calendar
- Lease was deleted and remeasured and still capturing the old measurement
If this is the case, reach out to our Customer Success team by emailing customersuccess@occupier.com to assist in this. In your email, please provide as much detail as possible (lease name, lease history detailing any changes made to the lease).
