What is the history log?
Why did we build this?
The History Log was built to ensure that stakeholders have the necessary controls in place to ensure data integrity. This way, you can see what changes have been made, by who, and when. In Lease Accounting, this is good for auditors to see.
What does it do?
The History Log functions as an edit log. It tracks what changes have been made to lease records, which user made those changes, and when those edits were made. The log is exportable, so it can be shared outside of Occupier if necessary. Primarily, this serves as a great check for your data integrity.
How to use it
In Lease Administration & in Lease Accounting…
Step 1: Navigate to a lease record, either by searching or by clicking the lease name from your Occupier homepage.
Step 2: From an individual lease page, click on the History Log tab (the far right option)
From here you will be able to see all of the history of edits made to this lease record.
