Try a Task Templates Guided Walkthrough

What are task templates?

Task templates make it easy to standardize action items or processes that relate to your leases within Occupier. Instead of creating tasks from scratch for every new lease, task templates enable you to create repeatable workflows for numerous project types that are easily importable into individual leases.

How do I create a task template?

Navigate to the “Task Templates” tab from your settings icon in the top right corner of your screen.

Click “Add Task Template”, name the workflow accordingly and press submit.

From there click on “Add Task” to add steps or action items in your process.

Keep clicking "add task" until you have completed your workflow. You can come back and edit this anytime. To reorder tasks, use the two horizontal lines on the left to drag and drop.

Once completed, you are ready to import your template into a lease record within Occupier. First search for the lease using the search bar at the top of the page -

To import a task template into a lease, navigate to "Tasks" tab of the lease and then click on the“+” icon

Select the task template you wish to import into the deal and press “submit”.

From there, you will see that all tasks for this workflow have been populated.

You can now assign due dates and task owners as needed.

You can also open the task to add a rich text, an assignee, due date, description, tags, or leave comments. You can learn more about task tags here.
