How to use Task Templates
What are task templates?
Task templates make it easy to standardize action items or processes for deals within Occupier. Instead of creating tasks from scratch for every new deal, task templates enable you to create repeatable workflows for numerous project types that are easily exportable into individual deals.
How do I create a task template?
Step 1: Navigate to the “Task Templates” tab from your settings icon in the top right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Click “Add Task Template”, name the workflow accordingly and press submit.
Step 3: From there click on “Add Task” to add steps or action items in your process. To reorder tasks, click on six dots next to the task and drag the task to your desired placement. Once completed, you are ready to import your template into a deal!
Step 4: To import a task template into a deal, click on the “+” icon in the Tasks tab on the deal page.
Select the task template you wish to import into the deal and press “submit”.
From there, you will see that all tasks for this workflow have been populated on the deal page.
You can now assign due dates and task owners as needed for each individual deal.
