How to edit account configurations?

Lease level account configurations can be changed over time. For instance, if you modify your chart of accounts, Occupier is able to configure accounts based on the user's specified period. If you want to configure a new set of accounts, refer to this article. However, if you would like to simply update the accounts associated with the lease, you can "Edit" the configuration. 

To edit your accounts, you will need to perform the following steps:

Step 1- Navigate to the "Accounts" tab on the desired lease.

Step 2- Select "Edit" or "Delete"

To make changes to account configurations, you have the option to edit or delete them.  However, please note for GL account configurations that if there are multiple configurations present on a lease, only the first configuration can be edited. 

To edit or delete a configuration, simply select the "Edit" or "Delete" button located at the bottom of the account configuration window.  Edit should be used if you want to make minor updates, Delete can be used if you're making a more comprehensive change. 

Step 3: Make Necessary Changes in the "Setup GL Accounts" Popup

It is important to note that any edits or deletions made to an account configuration will change the lease status to "Pending Approval".  Once the changes are approved and the lease is in a "Complete" state, the journal entries and reporting will be updated accordingly
