How to view additional rent breakdown
Why did we build this?
We built this feature to allow users to track all of the components that make up their total. For example, if a user wanted to see their “all in” rent at the end of the year, they could see a report of that rent overtime. The benefit of this feature is to give businesses full transparency into exactly where and how much money their facilities cost to run.
What does it do?
The additional rent view allows customers to see their additional rent components and how they change on a monthly basis. Additional rent is labeled by type and is graphically displayed so users can visibly see the makeup of their additional rent. Users can filter based on rent type, time interval and per square foot vs total.
How to use it
Using the search bar or collection of leases, select the specific lease that you want to see the rent breakdown of.
Navigate to the financials tab within the selected lease
Click on the dropdown below the word "Rent", as shown below.
From here, select additional rent.
After selecting additional rent you will be able to see your additional rent expenses for each month during your lease term. You can hover your mouse over the graph to the right to see proportional make up of additional rent. You can also use filtering to examine a particular expense, time frame, or unit of measurement. To filter by expense type, click the dropdown below "All Expenses", as shown below.
You can also click on the month (ex Jun 2022) to see a breakdown by expense type for that specific month.
