How Do I Update my Landlord Information?
Have a change in Landlord and need to update Occupier? Learn how here!
If the landlord for one of your leases changes, updating the lease record in Occupier is super quick/easy.
Firstly, you can upload any corresponding documentation to the documents tab of the lease in Occupier -
Next, click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the lease to edit the lease record.
From here, you can update the Lessor field and click submit. You can also add in a note about the change in the description of the lease if you'd like.
Lastly, you need to update your contacts. To do this, you'll want to delete the previous landlord's information that is no longer relevant -
Once you have done that, you can click "Add Contact" and add in the correct contact information or notice address for the new landlord.
You can learn more about how to add a contact here.
