Custom Clause Types
How Do I Create Custom Clauses in Lease Administration?
Why did we build this?
We built this feature to enable users to track custom clause types in Occupier. For example, if a user has a clause that is unique to their lease, and not already populated in Occupier’s clauses, they can easily add that clause type into the platform to allow easy tracking. The benefit of this feature is to allow users the opportunity to customize Occupier to ensure the ability to track their specific lease data.
What does it do?
Creating a custom clause type allows the user to input a specific clause within Occupier, that does not originally live in the pre-populated clause type options. Users are able to input a custom clause type that will enable you to select that type throughout all of the leases living within Occupier.
How to Create a Custom Clause:
Step 1: Starting from the main Lease Administration dashboard, navigate to the user icon in the top right corner of the page
Step 2: Select the “settings” option within the drop down menu
Step 3: Select “categories”
Step 4: Select “clause types”
Step 5: Select “add clause type”
Step 6: Input the desired clause type and select “submit”
