Creating a new deal
What is a deal?
A deal is basically a lease pre-execution. When you are scouting locations, making comparisons, selecting a location based on specific requirements, negotiating with the landlord, sending LOIs, all of these fall into the deal stage of a lease. Occupier helps you keep track of all your ongoing deals for multiple clients all in one place. You can move deals through deal stages and leave notes for yourself on each deal. Let's start by creating a new deal.
Steps to create a deal in Occupier
Step 1: On the Occupier main page, click on the green + button at the bottom right corner.
Step 2: Click on the 'Deal' option.
Step 3: Clicking on the 'Deal' option will take you to the "New Deal" window. Input your deal information for the building you are leasing/being leased into the wizard.
Step 4: Once you have input your information into the wizard, click on the submit button.
Step 5: Your deal will be registered into Occupier's system. You can view your deal on the "Deal Tracker" tab of Occupier.
