# Deal Updates & Daily Deal Digest
## How to use deal updates and the Daily Deal Digest
#### What are Deal Updates?
Deal updates are real-time notifications that alert you of a new post within an individual deal page under “Latest Update”. These notifications are meant to keep key stakeholders informed of any deal related progress or updates in a timely manner.
To add an update, just type the information you wish to share with the deal team and press submit. Users who have access to that deal will be notified of the update via email in real time or in their Daily Deal Digest.
To view the update history and how the deal has progressed, click on “See all updates”.
#### How do I change my notifications for Deal Updates?
You can edit your notifications from the Email Preferences tab within your Settings. Under “Deal Updates” you can select whether you want to receive email notifications in real-time or never.

#### What is the Daily Deal Digest?
If you do not want to be notified in real time about latest updates but still want to be informed of key happenings, you can opt into the Daily Deal Digest. The Daily Deal Digest compiles a daily deal activity report that is sent to your email the following morning at 8:00am.
