Critical Date Notification Settings

How Do I Change My Critical Date Notification Preferences?

Please watch this video to learn how to change your critical date notification preferences, or read along below.

How to Change Critical Date Notifications

Step 1: Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of Occupier, then select “Settings”.

Step 2: Click “Critical Date Notifications”.

Step 3: For each event type, select how far in advance you would like your first alert, and the frequency of alerts thereafter.

Example: Let’s say you want to receive notifications for Lease Expirations 6 months before the lease expiration date, and every month thereafter. If you have a Lease Expiration event on December 1, then you would receive alerts on June 1, July 1, August 1, September 1, October 1, and November 1.

If you have an event with a notice start and end period, then you will start receiving events X months before the notice start date, up until the notice end date.

Example: Let’s say you want to receive notifications for Right to Renew events 1 month before the notice start date, and every month thereafter. If you have a Right to Renew event with a notice start date of July 1 and a notice end date of October 1, then you would receive alerts on June 1, July 1, August 1, and September 1.

You can turn off notifications for any event type by setting “Timing of First Alert” to “Never”. You can also turn off notifications for all event types by clicking the toggle button.
