Do I have to go back and re-consider how I classified my leases under ASC 840 (the old leasing standard)?
No. The FASB has provided organizations an expedient allowing them to classify their leases the same way they did under ASC 840 for leases in existence at the transition date. In order to not re-consider lease classification, the entity must select the Package of Three practical expedient.
